In 2011, the song Forty Six & 2 was used in the Captain America: The First Avenger trailer. The song borrows elements from Carl Jung’s theory of collective unconscious but deals primarily with the concept that we, as people, exist in a disharmonious state and that with another pair of chromosomes, we can shed our own fragmented skin and physically evolve into a greater, more unified form. The song is about transformation—about changing into the best version of yourself and embracing what you were always meant to be.
